Greetings!

Hello again to all! It has been...wow, has it been...?...yup. It has been a almost two months since my last blog. Wow. So much has happened in these last couple months. I turned 27 on August 26, and was incredibly surprised to find that my dear friend Breanne has flown up from Kansas City to be with me on my birthday! Our families were able to spend wonderful time together and we were so blessed to have her near again so soon! :) Ryan's band, The Tread Abraham, also got to play a show at a comic book convention! They did great! It was so fun to listen to them live and play with Zeke, and look at all the comic book lovers in their fun costumes! Needless to say, there have been many joys that we've shared these last couple months, but we've had some hard times too. My grandfather passed away about three weeks ago. I can't even begin to describe the experience of sitting by his side during his last days and watching our family come together in such a beautiful way to care for him, or the feeling I still have in the pit of my stomach every time I remember that he is really gone. It just makes me remember how much I really do love him. I also can't even begin to help you understand what an incredible man he is and what an influence he's had in my life. My eyes are tearing up just thinking about it....so, I'm not going to try. I am just so consoled and excited every day that because of the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am going to be able to hug my grandpa again. Thank you Jesus!
We have been blessed to be able to spend time with our family on both sides recently. Right now, Ethan is here visiting. We are thrilled to have him so close by! We're having a great time! We were also able to spend some wonderful time in Wenatchee with my family during all that was going on with my grandpa. Zeke had SO much fun playing with all of his adorable cousins and Auntie! :)...and of course his Papa and LaLa! It was hard for me to take him away from all that fun. He seemed to have a developmental surge from all of the interaction. It was such a joy to see him with family. Thanks for loving on him so well guys! Oh ya!...and both Zeke AND my husband got haircuts by my wonderful brother Josh! Seriously, we probably should have paid him they look so good! Thanks again Josh!

Zeke is sprouting like a weed! He's got 6 teeth now!, and is starting to pull himself up on furniture and wants to walk (with our help) all the time! Right now, I'm trying to plan his 1 year birthday party! Can you believe it!? If any of you have ideas about what I could do at the party, I'd love some advice. I'm going to have it at 3:30-5pm, but that's about all I know. Should I have party favors? Games? A cake, or a cupcake? So much to think about! I'm having so much fun doing it though! :) Oh ya, I am pretty sure I got Zeke to say "Hi momma", and "Hi dadda". I was thrilled. Some of his favorite things to do right now are wave, dance, walk, laugh, and yell (happily :) ). He is also starting to be able to feed himself with a spoon, and is learning how to follow new directions from me. Today, I was teaching him how to put things in and out of something, and I was so surprised at how quickly he caught on to it! Alright, I gotta get going. I will try to blog again soon. I hope I leave you all well. Know we love you dearly.

God bless you deeply!
The Wilson Family :)

Here are a few pics of our family from our day in the Seattle area last Sunday and of Ezekiel playing around the house.
