A Little Update

Hello All! I hope that you all are doing well! I want you all to know that even though it's been over a week, I have not forgotten about this blog, and I still intend to keep up with it :) Ryan and I have been very busy. We had a wonderful fourth of July! I hope you all had a great one too! We spent the day with the Swansons, the Linaus, and some more of their community on Camano Island. We enjoyed good food and wonderful fellowship. I have to say that the fireworks were amazing! Especially for being a small Island, I was really impressed. Zeke didn't have any earplugs, so we watched them from the car while he slept. The last couple days have been bitter sweet for Ryan and I. My dearest and best friend Breanne moved to Kansas City a couple of days ago. Saying good bye to her was really difficult for Ryan and I both, but we are excited to see what God has planned for her on her journey. Everyday, I find that I think of her and grieve her nearness. I feel a bit emotionally whooped. I know this is to be expected though when those we sincerely love are taken beyond our everyday interactions. I hope and pray that someday we will be close again and able to live out our lives with our families together once more. She has been one of the most encouraging and wonderful examples of a godly woman, mother, and friend for me. Words cannot express how grateful Ryan and I are for her friendship and how much we love her. So I won't try.
Zeke got pretty sick the other day. He had a temperature of almost 102 and was very uncomfortable. Finally after some Tylenol and a good puke, he seemed to feel a lot better, and is completely over it today. He is so wonderful! I am so blessed to have such an adorable and fun son. Not to mention a loving, incredibly hardworking and big hearted husband. Who, by the way, just walked in the door so I'm going to go cuddle with him now while I can :) Oh ya, I also wanted to tell you that some of you have made comments on my blog, and I don't know how to write you back personally. But please know that I do read them and I love them! So keep 'em coming! Aunt Peggy, thank you so much for the gift you made for Ezekiel! I'm sorry I can't write you back personally. I want you to know that we love it and so does he! He's been playing with it a lot. He loves to bite and tug on the ribbon. I'm so impressed that you made it! It looks like it would be really difficult to make. We all love it though, and are so glad that it brings our family just a little closer to yours. We look forward to seeing you, hopefully in the near future, and to keep you updated on our lives :) This is all for now. From the Wilson home to yours, we love you all!

P.S. The picture at the top of this post shows where I have been wanting to be all day :)

just a hint: if you get a comment from someone who is also a blogger their name will show up in underlined blue. if you click on that, its a link to their blog, and you can leave comments at the bottom of each of their posts as well. this is a way you can "write back" to those people. also i think you can just post a reply comment on your own list of comments as a response to what people say. i'm glad Zeke is feeling better!

p.s. i guess if you click on the blue link it actually takes you to the blogger's profile, not their actual blog. if you scroll down to the bottom of the profile you can see a link to their actual blog. :) hope i'm not really confusing.
