This last weekend our family had the great privilege of visiting my parents in Wenatchee. We had an excellent time! My parents took all of us to Smallwood's Harvest. It was so much fun to see all the pumpkins and fall decor! I've been having a hard time letting summer go, but this trip definitely helped me get more into the harvest spirit! My parents ended up buying me what turned out to be nearly a 60 pound pumpkin! I absolutely LOVE it! Ezekiel and I have been talking for a while about fall and all that it brings and he has been so looking forward to getting pumpkins. Needless to say, he was ecstatic when he saw this sight...
He couldn't help but run right into all the pumpkins whenever we passed by them. The canon in the background is a pumpkin canon! I thought that was pretty cool. I wonder if it really works....
Today Zeke and I spent most of the day outside and exploring fun stores by the bay. We enjoyed looking at books, eating yummy food in a cafe and sipping our hot chocolates, just to name a few fun things we did. :) Outside, Ezekiel found.....
His stage! :)
He was so excited to find out that this space was used for musicians, actors, and other performers. One of his favorite parts of the day was to pretend he was performing. There was definitely an audience in his mind I think. :) It was pretty fun watching him pretend to play music. I am his biggest fan! :) Here are a couple more pictures from this time....
There was also a statue nearby that Ezekiel was fascinated by. He was having fun sitting in his lap, but of course when I tried to get a picture of it, it turned into a game of get off right when mama is about to take the picture! He was having a blast with it! I was kinda sad I didn't get a good picture, but I think this turned out pretty good anyway. It definitely captures the moment! :)
