Our getaway to Lake Wenatchee was amazing! Sorry I have not updated you all sooner. Ryan and I have been scurrying about as he wrapped up his fourth quarter at Whatcom Community College and preparing and enjoying our visits from family. Right now Debbie (Ryan's mom) is here visiting us from Arkansa. It has been so wonderful to have her here and to watch her bond with our son. I think she is really blessed to see BOTH of her sons and her grandson in the same visit! :) It's great! Ok, so, our time at the cabin. I must say there is not a whole lot to report, because most of our time was just spent lounging around the cabin, laying out on the dock, watching movies, roasting marshmellows and eating s'mores. Yes, sounds lovely doesn't it. It was. Friday and Saturday were kinda cold and windy days, even though the sun was out. So, most of our time on those days we spent in the cabin. However, Sunday and Monday were beautiful! We spent most of the day Sunday on the dock. We got to paddle boat a bit too which was so fun! I think we only spent about a half hour actually in the water. It was chilly! I had a wonderful time on Monday sitting out on the dock with my feet in the water, drinking coffee, worshiping, and relishing all of God's amazing creation! Ryan and I both were incredibly refreshed by the slowness of life and the breathtaking beauty that filled those couple days. I realized how I do not have enough moments like these and how I need to be purposeful for myself and with our family to make them a priority. I am a naturalist at heart! We love you all and hope you enjoy the Lord and are aware of His presence as you draw near to Him, even in the midst of this busy fast paced world. :)May the peace of Christ dwell in you richly,
The Wilsons :)
P.S. Oh my gosh! Do I not have the most cutest adorable baby niece!?! (She's the one on the left...of course Madeline, the one on the right, is super cute too! :) )
